An Empowering Partnership Aiming at YOUR SUCCESS!What is coaching?
Coaching is about CHANGE
COACHING IS:
A Partnership Towards a Goal:
Coaching is a partnership between two people– the coachee and the coach– working together with a same purpose: the benefit of the coachee. The purpose of the coaching sessions will be to support the coachee reaching new levels of happiness, satisfaction, well-being and performance so that the coachee may develop his or her hidden potential to new heights.
A Commitment to the Exploration of Hidden Potential:
Coaching is a commitment of two people to explore opportunities to grow so that the coachee may move nearer towards his or her objectives. The coachee and the coach will agree to explore together the coachee’s values and strengths so that he or she may be able to align his/her objectives with his/her values to set and achieve his/her goals.
A Launching Ramp Towards Solutions:
The coach will support the coachee into formulating which steps he or she may take in order to come closer to his or her objectives through questioning, through helping the coachee define the steps that will be necessary to his or her development and through focusing on creating solutions to the defined situations the coachee wants to work on.
A Process Involving Creativity Focusing on the Present:
Each coaching session will focus on identifying the situations the coachee wants to deal with, not concentrating on the past, but focusing on what the coachee would like to achieve. The whole process of coaching is based on the belief that each and every one has the abilities to create unique opportunities for growth and development in the areas that matter to him or her the most.
COACHING IS NOT
Mentoring: the coachee and the coach are equals partners exploring opportunities for reaching the coachee’s goals. The coach does not have to be older or experienced in the field in which the coachee wants to improve results. The
Therapy: the coachee is a functional individual who possesses everything he or she needs to lead his or her life in the direction he wants to take it.
A Training as such: the coachee will find and formulate the individualized answers to his own questions himself with the support of the coach’s skills for discovering and developing latent potential.
Consulting: the coach does not need to be an expert in the branch of the coachee, the coach will help the coachee create customized solutions in the areas in which he or she experiences unsatisfying results.
